What does being a First-Generation College Graduate mean to you?
Being a First-Generation College Graduate means that I will be setting a standard for generations to come.
What is your proudest moment from your time at UCSD?
My proudest moment from my time at UCSD was receiving the Health and Human Services Award at the Urban Expo for the Department of Urban Studies and Planning.
Who are the family members, friends or loved ones who have been most influential throughout your college journey? Are there any words of gratitude you would like to share with them?
The people that were the most influential throughout college was my parents. They are the backbone as to why I continue to get ahead. They have filled me up with unconditional love and support throughout the past 4 years.
Who are the staff, faculty or mentors who have been most influential throughout your college journey? Are there any words of gratitude you would like to share with them?
The most influential people through UCSD were my professors and mentors such as Erica Kirk from the Department of Urban Studies and Planning. It was also Dr. Tso from Student Health Services. Thank you for being there for me!
What do you plan or hope to do after graduating?
I will be attending UCLA for my Master's in Urban and Regional Planning.
