It means being resilient to adversity.

• What is your proudest moment from your time at UCSD?

My proudest moment at UCSD would be completing my degree and overcoming the obstacles that I faced being a first generation student far from home.

• Who are the family members, friends or loved ones who have been most influential throughout your college journey? Are there any words of gratitude you would like to share with them?

I would like to thank my parents , my brothers, my cousins, my uncles/aunts, and my friends , who helped me accomplish my goal and have supported me throughout my journey.

• What do you plan or hope to do after graduating?

My hope is to have a long impactful career as an engineer in the space industry.
