• What does being a First-Generation College Graduate mean to you?

It means I must self-absorb a lot of the school experiences that other parents could have offered to their kids, but simultaneously graduating as a first-generation college graduate brought me more sense of achievement and pride.

• What is your proudest moment from your time at UCSD?

When I got my offer of admission to UCSD

• Who are the family members, friends or loved ones who have been most influential throughout your college journey? Are there any words of gratitude you would like to share with them?

My family, particularly my elder sister, has always been supportive, both mentally and financially, of my whimsical decisions.

• What do you plan or hope to do after graduating?

Short term: Attend graduate school at UPenn; Long term: Become a professor
