• What does being a First-Generation College Graduate mean to you?

It means that my parents have sacrificed so much for me out of love so that I might have the opportunity to get a higher education.

• What is your proudest moment from your time at UCSD?

Finally after struggling for several years at UCSD, I achieved a quarter where I got a 4.0 in my Senior year.

• Who are the family members, friends or loved ones who have been most influential throughout your college journey? Are there any words of gratitude you would like to share with them?

My family and friends have been my backbone and my motivation throughout college. I wish that someday I will have the opportunity to help them and others how they helped me.

• Who are the staff, faculty or mentors who have been most influential throughout your college journey? Are there any words of gratitude you would like to share with them?

The whole Muir community and the Kyrie Eleison club at UCSD have supported me throughout my whole college experience and I cannot thank them enough for all the ways they have kept me going.

• What do you plan or hope to do after graduating?

I intend to go to medical school and become a doctor as my career
