It means being a role model to your loved ones and your community as you carve a space for yourself and others like you within an underrepresented group of scholars
What is your proudest moment from your time at UCSD?
Receiving Honors with High Distinction through the Literature department
Who are the family members, friends or loved ones who have been most influential throughout your college journey? Are there any words of gratitude you would like to share with them?
I will always be grateful for all of the kind-hearted, intelligent friends I have made along the way, making my time at UC San Diego one filled with friendship, growth, and compassion.
Who are the staff, faculty or mentors who have been most influential throughout your college journey? Are there any words of gratitude you would like to share with them?
I would like to thank the professors in the Literature Department, as well as the staff for the generosity they have shown me by being resources and providing guidance.
What do you plan or hope to do after graduating?
Go on to graduate school for a Masters degree in Comparative Literature, eventually become a professor at a community college
