What does being a First-Generation College Graduate mean to you?
It gives me great pride to myself and to my parents who have worked so hard for me to be in this situation.
What is your proudest moment from your time at UCSD?
Showing all my family members my school. When people were complementing my school it made me feel proud to attend UCSD and that was the moment it kind of hit me I was at this prestigious university.
Who are the family members, friends or loved ones who have been most influential throughout your college journey? Are there any words of gratitude you would like to share with them?
Most influential people at UCSD were my friends because they came from all types of backgrounds which opened my eyes even more to how diverse our world truly is. My family pushed me in my hardest moments and thus proved that I was able to finish and complete my degree!
Who are the staff, faculty or mentors who have been most influential throughout your college journey? Are there any words of gratitude you would like to share with them?
The most influential faculty at UCSD was one of my finance professors who was very inspirational to me and lead me to pursue a career in finance. He was easy to talk to during office hours and helped me in ways to do better in class plus ways to find jobs in this current market and for that I thank him.
What do you plan or hope to do after graduating?
Short-Term will go work in Finance then purse a MBA in the long term.
