  • What does being a First-Generation College Graduate mean to you?

Being a First-Generation College Graduate serves as a major milestone. It symbolizes not only my hard work and perseverance but also the sacrifices my immigrant parents made in order for me to receive a higher education. To my loving and supportive parents, thank you for everything you have done for me – this moment is just as much for me as it is for you.

  • What is your proudest moment from your time at UCSD?

My proudest moment from my time at UCSD is being awarded the Marshall College Scholar Cord. The award commemorates my high academic achievement as a graduating senior, and I could not be more grateful for being recognized for my hard work and dedication.

  • Who are the family members, friends or loved ones who have been most influential throughout your college journey? Are there any words of gratitude you would like to share with them?

Thank you to my hometown friends for sharing in our college journeys together at UCSD. Thank you to all the friends that I have made while in college. Thank you to my family for believing in me and supporting me along the way. I could not have done this without each and every one of you.

  • Who are the staff, faculty or mentors who have been most influential throughout your college journey? Are there any words of gratitude you would like to share with them?

Special gratitude to Professor Feeley for being the most inspirational professor from my time at UCSD, and to Professor Campbell for being such a dedicated professor, coach and mentor to all of his students.

  • What do you plan or hope to do after graduating?

After graduating, I look forward to furthering my education and earning a Master of Business Administration.
