• What does being a First-Generation College Graduate mean to you?

The satisfaction to pursue the career of my dreams. While honoring all the sacrifices and hard work that both of my parents did to help reach my goal.

• What is your proudest moment from your time at UCSD?

• Who are the family members, friends or loved ones who have been most influential throughout your college journey? Are there any words of gratitude you would like to share with them?

As I graduate, I must acknowledge the gratitude I have for my parents who always support me. To my family, who bear with me when the finals arrived, who tragically experienced my moments of stress, while managed to find the way to calm me down. Finally, to my friends, who stayed and supported me even in my crazy moments. Thanks.

• Who are the staff, faculty or mentors who have been most influential throughout your college journey? Are there any words of gratitude you would like to share with them?

All of my professor had collectively influenced in my journey throughout UCSD.

• What do you plan or hope to do after graduating?

• ¿Qué significa para ti obtener tu título universitario como graduado de primera generación?

La satisfacción de poder lograr la carrera con la cual sueño. Al mismo tiempo honrando los sacrificios y el trabajo duro de mis padres para ayudarme a lograr esta meta.

• ¿Cual es el momento de mayor orgullo durante tu tiempo en UCSD?

Mi primer día de clases en UCSD.

• ¿Quiénes son los miembros de tu familia, amigos o seres queridos que han sido más influyentes a lo largo de tu carrera universitaria? ¿Hay algunas palabras de agradecimiento que deseas compartir con ellos?

Al graduarme, debo reconocer la gratitud que le debo a mis padres quienes siempre me apoyan. A mi familia, que me soportaba cuando llegaban los exámenes finales, quienes experimentaron trágicamente mis momentos de estrés mientras lograban encontrar cómo calmarme. Finalmente, a mis amigos, quienes se quedaron y me apoyaron aún en mis momentos locos. Gracias.

• ¿Quiénes son los miembros de la comunidad de UCSD (profesores, educadores, mentores) que han sido más influyentes a lo largo de tu carrera universitaria? ¿Hay algunas palabras de agradecimiento que deseas compartir con ellos?

Todos mis profesores colectivamente influyeron mi viaje através de UCSD.
