What does being a First-Generation College Graduate mean to you?
Being a first-generation graduate means being a trailblazer for others.
What is your proudest moment from your time at UCSD?
To be able to have the opportunity to both study abroad and start my master's career all within 4 years.
Who are the family members, friends or loved ones who have been most influential throughout your college journey? Are there any words of gratitude you would like to share with them?
Thank you to everyone that has supported me because of all of you, I was able to thrive on campus academically and be able to give back and share my story.
Who are the staff, faculty or mentors who have been most influential throughout your college journey? Are there any words of gratitude you would like to share with them?
I would like to thank everyone at the Student Success Coaching Program for always supporting students by just being there in our corners. Being in our corners allows us to have that foundational feeling that we are not alone on this campus and that people are willing to help and listen to our stories.
What do you plan or hope to do after graduating?
I plan to finish my master of international affairs degree and then hopefully find a job in policy making or data analytics.
