Quick Pizza Crust

1 tablespoon butter

1 2/3 cups flour

2 teaspoons sugar

2 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

2/3 cup milk

-Preheat your oven to 425 degrees.

-Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a medium bowl.

-Add milk and stir just until moistened.

-When dough starts to pull together place it onto a lightly floured surface and knead for about a minute.

-You can either melt the tablespoon of butter and brush it onto your baking pan (I like to use a cast iron skillet to bake

the pizza), or place a tablespoon of butter onto your pan/skillet, and put it for a minute into your oven for the butter to

melt while the oven is heating up.

-Spread the dough onto the bottom of the buttered pan, and up the sides to form the crust.

-Pre-bake the crust for 10 minutes in your 425-degree oven, THEN add sauce and toppings and bake for an additional 6

to 12 minutes. The amount of additional baking time will vary depending upon how loaded your pizza is with

toppings!
