Eyeball Punch

  • 2 two-liter bottles ginger ale
  • 64 oz. cranberry juice
  • 1 pint sherbet

for eyeball ice cubes: blueberries, kiwi slices

Freeze the ice cubes:

-You will need freezer-safe bowls or other round containers.

    1. Place a blueberry in the bottom of the bowl.
    2. With a knife, remove a blueberry-sized area from the center of a kiwi slice.
    3. Place the kiwi slice into the bowl, on top of the blueberry so the blueberry fits into the hole that you created. This will be the iris of your eyeball!
    4. Add just enough water into the bowl to cover the blueberry and kiwi, no more than a half-inch deep.
    5. Freeze for one hour, or until ice is set.
    6. Fill with water and freeze overnight. The reason why you need to freeze the ice cubes in stages is to prevent the fruit from floating to the top!
    7. Unmold the ice cubes when you are ready to serve the punch

Make the punch:

-Pour ginger ale and cranberry juice into a punch bowl. Top with scoops of sherbet.

-Add eyeball ice cubes.

-Ladle the punch into glasses, adding a small scoop of sherbet to each glass if desired.
