Ham and Cheese Sliders with Honey-Mustard Dipping Sauce
- 2 packages (24 total rolls) Hawaiian dinner rolls
- 3 tablespoons melted butter
- 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon fresh minced parsley
- 1 lb thin-sliced deli ham
- 8 oz shredded monterey jack cheese
Dipping Sauce Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup honey mustard
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
Equipment needed: Two 13 x 9 baking pans, aluminum foil
-Preheat your oven to 400 degrees fahrenheit.
-Stir the garlic powder and the minced parsley into the melted butter.
-Mix the honey mustard and the mayo in a small bowl. Refrigerate until serving.
-Slice each package of rolls in half lengthwise (do not separate rolls individually before
slicing--slice right through the slab of rolls and lift off the tops in one piece).
-Place the bottoms of the rolls into your baking pans (do not separate the rolls, place the
bottom in one piece).
-Layer the ham onto the roll bottoms. Sprinkle the shredded monterey jack onto the
ham.
-Place the roll tops (in one piece) on top.
-Brush the roll tops with the butter mixture.
-Tightly cover the baking pans with the aluminum foil. Bake for 20 minutes, until the
cheese has melted.
-To serve: slice into sandwiches and serve with the dipping sauce.
