Hot Chocolate (8-10 servings)

    • 1 14-oz can sweetened condensed milk
    • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
    • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
    • pinch salt
    • 8 cups milk

Toppings: whipped cream, marshmallows

-In a medium bowl, whisk together sweetened condensed milk, cocoa powder, vanilla and salt until

combined. Microwave on HIGH for 45 seconds; stir, microwave on HIGH for an additional 45

seconds.

-Add two generous tablespoons of chocolate mixture to a mug with 8 oz. milk. Stir. Microwave on

HIGH for 1 minute. Stir. Microwave an additional 30 seconds on HIGH. Stir. Top with whipped cream

and/or marshmallows. Repeat for each additional serving. Chocolate mixture may be refrigerated for

future use.

Stovetop method: In a medium (4 quart) saucepan over low/medium heat, whisk together sweetened

condensed milk, cocoa powder, vanilla and salt until well-combined and thoroughly heated. Slowly

whisk in 8 cups of milk until warm (do not boil). Ladle into mugs and serve immediately, topped with whipped cream and/or marshmallows.
