Frozen Banana Ghost Pops

    • 2 bananas
    • 1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips
    • 1 tablespoon shortening
    • semi sweet chocolate chips, for eyes

Also needed: 8 popsicle sticks

-Line a baking sheet with parchment.

-Peel bananas. Cut in half lengthwise, then cut each length into halves widthwise.

-Carefully stick a popsicle stick into the cut end of each banana piece. Place onto the

parchment-lined baking sheet, and put the baking sheet into your freezer until the

bananas are frozen (about an hour).

-Place the white chocolate chips and shortening into a coffee mug (or any microwave safe

bowl that is narrow and deep enough to dip the bananas into). Microwave on HIGH for

one minute. Stir until melted, microwaving in additional 30-second intervals if necessary.

-Dip the frozen bananas into the melted chocolate, an return to the parchment-lined baking

sheet. The white chocolate will set very fast, so quickly place two semi-sweet chocolate chips

for eyes.

-May be served immediately, or kept frozen until ready to serve.
