Crock Pot Chili

2 lb. beef top sirloin steak

1 large onion, diced

1 teaspoon onion salt

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

2 (15-ounce) cans black beans, rinsed and drained

2 (15-ounce) cans fire-roasted diced tomatoes, undrained

1 (8-ounce) can tomato sauce

1 (4 or 5 ounce) can diced or chopped green chiles, undrained

1 tablespoon chili powder

1 teaspoon ground cumin

Suggested Toppings: shredded jack cheese, diced avocado, sour cream, tortilla chips

-Trim visible fat from beef. Cut into 3/4-inch cubes.

-Place beef, diced onion, onion salt and garlic powder into your crock pot. Stir to combine.

-Add beans, tomatoes, tomato sauce, chiles, chili powder and cumin. Stir until combined.

-Put the lid on, and cook on LOW for 8 hours.

-Serve with your favorite toppings.
