Blackberry-Ginger Mojito

  • 16 fresh mint leaves, washed and dried
  • 1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger
  • 14 fresh blackberries, washed (fresh-picked or from the farmers market are best!)
  • 1 12-oz bottle of ginger ale
  • 2 ounces white rum

serve over ice

-Place six blackberries, six mint leaves, and 1/2 teaspoon of grated ginger in each glass.

-Gently muddle.

-Pour one ounce of rum into each glass. Add a handful of ice.

-Top with ginger ale, stir. Garnish with additional mint leaves and blackberry if desired.
