1) Open Final Cut Pro from the doc- use that project to capture
2) File—Log and Capture- (window will pop out)
3) On the tape player, cue up your video five seconds before the video you want to capture
4) Click on the Logging Tab, under Description… type in your detailed clip information
5) Hit the Play button to start the video
6) Click the NOW button on the bottom right to start capturing your video
7) Hit ESC to stop- KEEP THE FILES SMALL- under 30 seconds is best for transfer to your computer
WHEN YOU FINISH CAPTURING...
8) Go to the DESKTOP folder called "SCRATCH DISC" and under the project you saved it find your named video
9) Copy the .MOV FILES and paste them onto the TELECOMVIDEO SERVER- in the appropriate named folder
