Final Commercial Project Fall 2016
Assignment: Create a creative appeal on behalf of a product, local business or something you make up. You can use a comedic or serious approach.
Due: 30 second to 1 minute video that tells a story that connects with our local audience.
Goal: To learn how to create a compelling, quick and targeted message for your specific, local audience.
To experiment with New Media mediums which can provide targeted impact with compelling messages. Have fun with Final Cut Pro for a final project.
Monday November 21- Introduce how to Topic/Pitch/Propose and then Critique 5 videos from the CTEC Music Video Entries in Google Sites then work on TPP
Tuesday November 22- watch through more examples and work on TPP
Monday November 28- finalize TPP in class
Tuesday November 29- deliver Topic/Pitch/Proposal in class to the camera and continue to develop ideas
Wednesday-Thursday November 30-December 1- Revise TPP, bring music into FCP- cut it down
Friday December 2- Create Production Schedule
Monday December 5- Create Shot Sheet below based off cut down music

Tuesday December 6- Tuesday December 13- Shooting video
Wednesday-Thursday December 7-8 Rough Cut Critique- 50% in the timeline
Wednesday-Thursday December 24-15- Rough Draft Peer Critique- 90% completed
Friday December 16- Media Literacy Day
Tuesday January 3- editing
Wednesday-Thursday January 4-5- Rough Draft Peer Critique- 90%
Friday January 6- FINAL DRAFT DUE AT 8pm
Monday and Finals day- Watch and critique final projects/complete Digital Portfolio
