How to burn a DVD in iDVD

1. Open iDVD through the Mac HD-Applications- iDVD icon

2. Create a New Project

3. Put your name and project- save it to your desktop folder and make sure it’s in the right Aspect Ratio- WIDESCREEN (16x9)

4. When it opens, go to the top right drop down window that says “7.0 themes” and go to All- pick one that is appropriate for your video.

5. Then customize your background by going to the icon on the bottom left with the i with a circle around it.

6. You can eliminate the features by un-checking the boxes.

7. Go to the Finder (smiley face on the dock) and drag your .MOV file onto the screen.

8. Click on the text and you can change the font or description.

9. To see how it looks hit the play button on the bottom middle right. Click on the remote to close the preview.

10. Write your information on the DVD face, open the disc tray by hitting the eject button on the top right of the keyboard, then again to close it, then click the shutter button to the right of the play button to start burning your DVD.
