3 large or 6 small avocados, pitted and peeled
2 tbsp mayonnaise
4 tbsp fresh lime juice
a few pinches of salt and freshly grated black pepper
1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced (more or less, depending on your tastes)
1/4 cup sliced scallions
1/4 cup (packed) minced cilantro
2 yellow or 1 red mango, peeled, seeded, and finely diced
1. In a large bowl, mash the avocado with the mayonnaise, lime juice, salt, and pepper.
2. Fold in the remaining ingredients. Taste for seasoning. Serve immediately or chill until serving, about 1 hour.
