19-25 Summary Abatement

CITY OF ELGIN, OREGON RESOLUTION 19 (2025)

A RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO ABATE NUISANCES AND REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT TAX LOT 7000 IN BLOCK 70 OF HINDMAN’S ADDITION OF MAP #01N3915DB, 196 SOUTH 11TH AVENUE, ELGIN, UNION COUNTY, OREGON

WHEREAS: Any charges arise from Summary Abatement of Debris and Noxious weeds and Tall Grass under EMC 8.08.050 (A)(C)(M); AND EMC 8.08.060 Abandoned Refrigerators; AND EMC 8.08.070 Attractive Nuisances; AND 8.080.120 (A)(B) Unenumerated Nuisances; AND EMC 8.20.010 Vehicle Storage-Exposure; AND EMC 8.20.020 Depositing on Public or Private Property; AND

WHEREAS: A Summary Abatement was declared by the City Administrator due to the hazardous situation created by the said nuisances and the imminent danger to any occupant(s) or public who may be in or around the property per under EMC 8.08.180;

RESOLVED: Elgin City Council directs City Administrator to abate nuisances and real property located at the above identified real property.
