1230 Interfund Transfer

CITY OF ELGIN, OREGON RESOLUTION 1230 (2007)

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL AUTHORIZING APPROPRIATION OF GENERAL FUND CONTINGENCY TO SOLID WASTE TRANSFER DEPARTMENTS

WHEREAS: The Solid Waste Transfer has had more expenditures than anticipated due to increased hauling charges, increased operations, and increase in use of “free” dumping, and;

WHEREAS: Solid Waste disposal is an essential service for the City of Elgin, and;

WHEREAS: The generated revenues at April 30 has exceed the budgeted resources, in part, offsetting the increased expenditures;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:

That the General Fund Contingency budget be decrease by $7,000, and the Solid Waste Transfer materials and services budget be increased by $7,000, and;

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: that $7,000 be appropriated for Solid Waste Transfer Materials and Services (Transfer Service).
