11-20 Supplemental Budget

CITY OF ELGIN, OREGON RESOLUTION 11 (2020)

A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING UNANTICIPATED GRANT MONEY INTO THE 2020/2021 BUDGET

WHEREAS: The City of Elgin applied for multiple grants after the start of the 2020-2021 budget year in support of multiple projects; AND

WHEREAS: The City of Elgin Budget Officer and Budget Committee did not anticipate receiving funds from these grants, thus, did not budget to receive them, AND

WHEREAS: The grants to be received are as follows:

• Oregon Department of Transportation Small Cities Special Allotment Grant $100,000

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT: The Elgin City Council hereby authorizes the Budget Officer/City  Administrator to add these monies from said grants to the 2020/2021 City of Elgin Budget.
