CITY OF ELGIN, OREGON RESOLUTION 11 (2022)

A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE PRICES FOR THE NEW DUMP OPERATIONS

WHEREAS: The City of Elgin has installed scales at the Elgin Solid Waste Transfer Station and requires a new pricing

system to accurately charge citizens to dump their solid waste. New fee’s would be effective beginning June 1st, 2022.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT: 

New Proposed Fee’s (2022) Fee’s passed in 2015

Price For First 200 Pounds Of Waste (Minimum): $16.00 $11.00

Price Per Ton OVER 200 Pounds Of Waste: $118.00 $118.00

Yard Debris: Free (To Citizens of Elgin) FREE (To Citizens of Elgin)

Refrigerators (Doors Removed Only): $30.00 $25.00

Mattress/Box Springs: $15.00 $10.00

Appliances (Stoves, Dryers, ect): $30.00 $20.00

Sofas: $25.00 $20.00

Chairs: $15.00 $10.00

*Yard debris must come from Citizens of Elgin only. Must show proof of address.

**Yard debris from non-citizens or businesses shall be charged a minimum of $5.00 for the first 350 pounds. $1.00 shall be charged for each additional 50 pounds.
