25-24 Property Lien

CITY OF ELGIN, OREGON RESOLUTION 25 (2024)

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE REMOVAL OF LIEN ON REAL PROPERTY LOCATED ON TAX LOT 4600 IN BLOCK 64 OF HINDMAN'S ADDITION OF MAP #01N3915BD, 795 ALDER ST., ELGIN, UNION COUNTY, OREGON

WHEREAS: Charges for water and sewer service have been due and payable for sixty (60) days or more, and that neither the amount nor any part thereof were been paid on the account serviced at said address by February 11, 2020; AND

WHEREAS: The charges arise from water and sewer fees and are assessed under the provisions of the City of Elgin Ordinances 13.04.08, 13.08.180 and 13.16.160;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT: A Lien in the amount of $12,668.76 is hereby declared as being removed from the above identified real property for the reason that charges owing to the City of Elgin are no longer sought for repayment by the City, and the Union County Clerk is hereby instructed to record the removal of the lien in the appropriate record book at cost to the City of Elgin.
