CITY OF ELGIN, OREGON RESOLUTION 1315 (2014)
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL SETTING THE ADDITION TO ON-CALL HOURS/PAYMENT TO SECTION 1.6 DEFINITIONS OF THE CITY OF ELGIN PERSONNEL POLICY
WHEREAS: The City of Elgin is to provide policies for the systematic and equitable procedures and regulations in matters related to the status and compensation of employees of the City of Elgin: Article 1, Section 1.6.1 (?(ag)) On-Call Definitions.
WHEREAS: the City of Elgin Personnel Policy will be revised to add under Definitions:
On-Call Hours: Hours per day assigned to employee for the benefit of emergency response to City needs. Hours are to be calculated from the end of the normally scheduled work period to the beginning of the next normally scheduled work period. On-Call Hours do not include Off-Hour Emergency worked hours.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT: The City of Elgin adds the On-Call Hours/Payment definition in the Personnel Policy Article 1, Section 1.6.1 (?ag)) to the above definition to be effective the first pay period beginning after approval.
