CITY OF ELGIN, OREGON RESOLUTION 16 (2025)

Supplemental Budget

WHEREAS: The City of Elgin received a grant from the Wildhorse Foundation to purchase equipment for the Elgin Ambulance Fund; and

WHEREAS: The City of Elgin received an insurance payout; 

WHEREAS: The Elgin City Council is prioritizing debt retirement; and

WHEREAS: The 2024-2025 fiscal year budget did not correctly authorize certain inter-fund transfers;

RESOLVED: In the Ambulance Fund, the City receives $18,500 in additional Miscellaneous Revenue as a Resource and appropriates an additional $18,500 to the Medical Supplies Materials & Services Requirement;

RESOLVED: In the General Fund, the City receives $31,850 to increase the Miscellaneous Income Resource to $32,850 and appropriates $17,800 for a new Debt Service requirement entitled “Early Ambulance Debt Payment;” and

RESOLVED: In the Water Fund, $1,000 is appropriated as a requirement for an inter-fund transfer to the Public Works Equipment Reserve Fund; and

RESOLVED: In the Public Works Equipment Reserve Fund, the City receives $1,000 in Inter-Fund Transfers from the Sewer Fund as a resource.
