15-21 Property Lien

CITY OF ELGIN, OREGON RESOLUTION 15 (2021)

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PLACEMENT OF LIEN ON REAL PROPERTY LOCATED ON TAX LOT 5500 IN BLOCK 71 OF STEVENSON's ADDITION OF MAP #01N3915DB, 142 SOUTH 9TH AVENUE, ELGIN, UNION COUNTY, OREGON.

WHEREAS: Charges for Tree Abatement Removal service have been due and payable for sixty (60) days or more, and that neither the amount nor any part thereof has been paid on the account serviced at said address; AND

WHEREAS: The charges arise from Abatement procedure fees and are assessed under the provisions of the City of Elgin Ordinances 8.08.130, 8.08.170, and 8.08.180.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT: A Lien in the amount of $1,277.00 is hereby declared as attaching to the above identified real property for the reason that charges owing to the City of Elgin are now past due and the Union County Clerk is hereby instructed to record the lien in the appropriate record book.
