A RESOLUTION SETTING THE PRICES FOR THE NEW DUMP OPERATIONS
WHEREAS: The City of Elgin has installed scales at the Elgin Solid Waste Transfer Station and requires a new pricing system to accurately charge citizens to dump their solid waste.
NOW THEREFOR BE IT RESOLVED THAT:
Price For First 200 Pounds Of Waste (Minimum):
Price Per Ton OVER 200 Pounds Of Waste:
Yard Debris:
Refrigerators (Doors Removed Only):
Mattress/Box Springs:
Appliances (Stoves, Dryers, ect):

*Yard debris must come from Citizens of Elgin only. Must show proof of address.
**Yard debris from non-citizens or businesses shall be charged a minimum of $5.00 for the first 350 pounds. $1.00 shall be charged for each additional 50 pounds.
