CITY OF ELGIN, OREGON RESOLUTION 27 (2017)
A RESOLUTION ZONING TAX LOT 1800 IN MAP NUMBER 01N3915DB, 65788 HEMLOCK STREET, UNION COUNTY, OREGON FROM INDUSTRIAL CRAFTSMAN TO RESIDENTIAL (R-2)
WHEREAS: The City did set the time and place for a public hearing, on the proposed vacation on December 12th, 2017 at 6:30pm at Elgin City Hall, located at 180 N 8th Ave, Elgin, Oregon 97827. Notice of the public hearing and proposed zoning change was given to the La Grande Observer, Elk Horn Media Group, posted in three conspicuous places, and mailed out to all affected property owners within 300 feet no less than 10 days before the hearing and not more than 30 days before the hearing. Posting verified by the City Administrator and Public Works Supervisor, AND;
WHEREAS: At the time and place fixed for the said hearing, to-wit: the hour of 6:30pm at Elgin City Hall, Elgin, Oregon, on Tuesday December 12th, 2017, said Council called the hearing to order, and did hold a public hearing on the proposed zoning application; no objection or remonstrance's to change the zoning of said property were made in writing or filed with the City Administrator prior to the time of the hearing, or at all, and no one appeared at the hearing to make any objections or remonstrance's to such change;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Tax lot 1800 in map number 01N3915DB, 65788 Hemlock Street, Union County, Oregon is now zoned Residential (R-2) and the Union County Clerk and Tax Accessor [sic] are hereby instructed to record the zoning change in the appropriate record book.
