14-25 Reserve Funds

CITY OF ELGIN, OREGON RESOLUTION 14 (2025)

ESTABLISHING CITY RESERVE FUNDS

WHEREAS: The City of Elgin has five Reserve Funds in its Budget,

WHEREAS: The City has no record of the resolutions or ordinances establishing existing ordinances or enacting review dates

RESOLVED: The City of Elgin establishes the following Reserve Funds with a review date of June 10, 2035:

Emergency Equipment Reserve Fund: For the purpose of making major EMS purchases.

1. Public Works Equipment Reserve Fund: For the purpose of making major equipment purchases.

2. Street Capital Reserve Fund: For the purpose of saving unused monies from the Street Fund.

3. Water Capital Reserve Fund: For the purpose of saving unused monies from the Water Fund.

4. Sewer Capital Reserve Fund: For the purpose of saving unused monies from the Sewer Fund.

PASSED AND ADOPTED this 10th day of June, 2025.
