25-17 Contingency Funds

CITY OF ELGIN, OREGON RESOLUTION 25 (2017)

A RESOLUTION TO ACCESS CONTINGENCY FUNDS FROM THE PROPERTY FUND IN-ORDER-TO PURCHASE SNOW REMOVAL EQUIPMENT.

WHEREAS: The City of Elgin set aside $10,000 in contingency funds in the Property Fund (002) incase unforeseen purchases must be made; AND

WHEREAS: The City of Elgin Public Works Director has Identified a piece of snow removal machinery valued at $2,000 that would greatly enhance the City of Elgin's fleet and provide excellent service to the public.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT: The Elgin City Council hereby authorizes the Budget Officer/City Administrator to withdraw $2,000 from the Property Fund (002) Contingency line item from the 2017/2018 City of Elgin Budget.
