CITY OF ELGIN, OREGON RESOLUTION 1243 (2008)
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL Transferring Appropriated resources within the State Revenue Sharing Fund and increase the Police Department Budget
WHEREAS: The City of Elgin, has budgeted $5,000 for ordinance enforcement in the State Revenue Sharing Fund, and;
WHEREAS: The City of Elgin, at present does not have an officer that can be assigned to ordinance enforcement, and;
WHEREAS: The Police Department can provided ordinance enforcement in part, using personnel overtime:
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:
That the City of Elgin hereby decreases the Revenue Sharing Fund line item “Ordinance Enforcement” by $2,700 from $5,000 to $2,300.00; and increases the Revenue Sharing line item “Transfer to other funds” by $2,700 from $6050 to $8,750, and;
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:
That the General Fund Police department budget be increased by $2,700 from $225,447 to $228,147 and the General Fund Contingency be decreased by $2,700 from $132,050 to $129,350.
