Winter Band Concert 2014

I cannot explain how amazing the winter band concert was. The concert took place on December 18th in the school’s auditorium. The songs performed by the LHS band were 'Christmas as the Movies', 'Celtic Carol', 'Hanukkah Highlights', 'Carol of the Bells' (percussion), 'Christmas Calypso', 'Baby It's Cold Outside' (Meryl Schor on trumpet & Jerrod Faulkner on alto saxophone), and 'Highlights from FROZEN'. Everything down to a hair was perfect. From everyone in the band playing together, to the percussion's dominating 'Carol of the Bells', to Meryl and Jerrod's perfect blend in their duet. Mr. Summers made it known that the songs played at the concerts were done and mastered in 19 rehearsals, also the first time they played FROZEN completely without stopping. He is happy with how quickly they learned the pieces. Honestly, if you weren't there. You missed out.
