The 2015 Homecoming at Liberty High School has already come and gone! The annual festivities started off on Friday, September 25 with a parade around the schools, led by the Liberty Leopards Golden Marching Band. Each class showed off their school spirit by having a themed float in the parade; Mardi Gras (Seniors), Super Heroes (Juniors), Neon
(Sophomores), Luau (Freshman). Following the floats were a variety of convertibles carrying this year's senior homecoming court! The members of the court included Allie Adler, Joy Griffin, Maleah Schiavone, Amber Ortiz, Marcy Dykes, and our 2015 queen Daje'Auna Adams who was crowned before the start of the football game. The evenings events were capped off by the football team scoring a touchdown in the fourth quarter with two minutes left in the game and the boys winning our first game of the season!
The excitement continued Saturday night as LHS students and their friends gathered at the high school to enter our Mardi Gras themed dance for the evening. After a night of fun, photos, and dancing our 2015 homecoming activities came to a bittersweet close.
