20 Under 20

At the beginning of December, Liberty High School senior Madison DeMarco received an award for her participation in 20 Under 20. 20 Under 20 is an organization that rewards twenty students under the age of twenty for their volunteerism.

Madison was nominated by her grandmother for her commitment to helping others. The committee selected students based on their volunteer work, academics, and extra-curricular activities.

“It’s important to be well-rounded,” Madison says.

In addition to excelling in school, Madison has volunteered at the Summer Enrichment Program, Camp Fitch, and the Fairhaven Christmas Dinner.

Madison also enjoys tennis and dance, and is a member of Interact.
