The Golden Leopard Marching Band

The Liberty Golden Leopards Marching Band finished another spectacular season in 2016. The year kicked off with Band Camp, held at Slippery Rock University. There, Mr. Michael Summers walked over 100 musicians, flag line members, majorettes and staff through learning the “Music Royalty” show, featuring songs by Prince, Elvis, Justin Timberlake, Madonna, and Whitney Houston. Led by Drum Majors Carvell Austin and Emily Steeves, the Leopards took their talents to several venues across the area, the largest being Howland, Warren Harding, and Hubbard. Liberty’s Home Band Night featured 8 area bands, the most in many years. Following the Band Night Series was the usual sequence of football games, allowing the band the opportunities to light up a handful of other stadiums and crowds.

The Golden Leopard Band would like to thank the entire community for their continued support of the program and hopes to see everyone at their upcoming concerts.
