The 2017 Golden Leopard Marching Band

Although the school year started on August 24th, the Liberty Golden Leopard Marching Band has been hard at work since July preparing their 2017 band show. After a week of summer rehearsals, the band headed to Slippery Rock University for five days of band camp. Their show, By the Numbers, features catchy, numerical hits including 24K Magic by Bruno Mars and a Twenty-One Pilots medley.

The band debuted their show at the Howland Tigers’ Band Night on August 15th with their second show the following night at Hubbard where they were quite the crowd pleasers. On August 23rd, the leopards hosted Mathews, Ursuline, Brookfield, Harding, Hubbard, and Howland at their home band night.

On the second day of school, the band performed at the Fall Pep Rally and went on to play that night at the Celebrate Liberty Tailgate before the first football game of the season. The band looks forward to supporting their team this season while also preparing for their trip to Disney World in November where they will march in the parade on Thanksgiving Day.
