Liberty Strikes Back!

On Friday, September 27, 2019 the Leopards and Red Devils went head to head at Liberty Stadium. Both teams were not able to score in the first quarter, howe

ver by the second quarter Liberty was able to score the first touchdown. The next two touchdowns were scored by Campbell, allowing us to end the second quarter with 16-8.

Although Liberty did not lose hope. During the halftime show our Golden Leopard Marching Band was able to get everyone excited with some upbeat and high energy songs! The band played Monkey Wrench and Fire And Gold On The Ceiling.

As we started the third quarter we were able to score once again, now leaving the score at 16-14. The Leopards were coming back up with a bigger goal and more momentum. Liberty wanted to win. Campbell did score once more in the third quarter as did Liberty, leaving the score at 23-22. The opposing team scored one last time, the score ending the third quarter with 29-22. By the end of the third quarter The Leopards scored 8 points and The Red Devils scored 13.

The fourth quarter came rolling around quickly, The Leopards were the first to score this quarter. Starting off the quarter strong with a score of 29-30. Liberty did not allow Campbell to score, instead The Leopards do once more, the score now coming up to 29-38. The Leopards ended off the game with power, only allowing Campbell to score 3 more points. The game finished off with a victory to The Leopards, the score ended up to be 32-38. Follow The Leopards next week when they take on The Vikings at LaBrae. GO LEOPARDS!!!!!
