This year Liberty has welcomed three foreign exchanges students and I had the pleasure of interviewing one of them. The student I got to interview was Max and he is from Germany. Here is some information I gathered while conducting this interview. His birthday is December 14th 2001. Max has been in the U.S. since August 26, 2018. The one thing he likes the most about being here is there are more activities to do at school. The thing he likes the least is the school system. The thing he misses the most is the mobility, now he has to be driven around here but he can ride his bike in Germany. He has one sibling which is a little brother. Some stereotypes he found true about the U.S. is that we are lazy and not concerned about the environment.

His experience here has helped him learn more English. His interests are baseball and band. His favorite movies are Star Wars and Jurassic Park. His experience with his family here has been good but he has to do chores that he didn’t have to do in Germany. The reason he chose America was because it was the best option out of the ones he was presented with. He has traveled around Europe and he has been to America (New York) before. He feels welcomed here. A thing he wants to try is driving. A rule he has to follow is he is not allowed to ride with strangers. He has been here for a little over 3 months and is not homesick. After conducting this interview I found that Max enjoys being a foreign exchange student.
