As fall begins so does this year’s robotics season with a new set of challenges, each one being even harder than last. Towers standing high above the robots as the drivers, coders, and pilots face their respective challenges. Having to build a robot that is able to drive fast and lift the plastic blocks to their designated towers would be hard. “The challenges are difficult, but I’m confident our team can handle them,” said the robotics coach, Mrs. Sinkele.
“From a building standpoint this has been difficult already, but the driving is just like last year,” said Bannon Elston, a builder and pilot. With all these factors in play, no one can really know how the challenge will go until further in the year, but what we do know is that this year Liberty will have the honor of hosting the vex challenges at their school. This puts a small strain on the coaches as now they must keep the game element in pristine conditions for game day. “Though the challenges are complex, we have a good team to meet them,” said a journalist, Maria Gerthund. With all of this in mind only time will tell how things will unfold.
