First things first: golf coach Mr. Knittle claims that this has been the best season he has had in the last seven years. Liberty finished with an overall record of 12-3, and 11-3 in their conference. They happened to finish 2nd in their conference behind Brookfield, who happened to go to state. Mr. Knittle explains that there was a lot of senior leadership among Andy Everly and Nick Longo, who also had the lowest averages on the team.

Up and comer Michael Walker according to him was a pl

easant surprise, and veteran Anthony Marsco continues his game with a lot of consistency and is proven to be one of the best golfers at Liberty. Mr. Knittle also claims Marsco was very important this season. Mr. Knittle says that losing the two seniors this year, “Will be tough”, and his main focus is to bring everybody back next year. He also wants the team to practice over the summer, so that they can be, or, just as good as last season. One last comment from Knittle: “Very rewarding season to see us get better over the last 4 years with the seniors. Our future is bright with the upperclassmen.”
