Last week, the girls blazed the Lordstown Red Devils, taking all five varsity matches. Tuesday, the girls fought a hard battle against the Falcons. On Wednesday, the doubles team of Cari Boulton and Sydney Lara ruffled feathers with the Eagles to pick up a 6-1, 6-2 win.
With only five matches left in the regular season, the girls will begin preparing for sectionals coming this October. For now though, this week's matches begin at 4:00 at the Jewish Community Center. Come support your Lady Leopards. We wish our girls the best of luck in the remainder of the season.
The Lady Leopard's tennis team continued their regular season this week with two home matches this Tuesday and Wednesday. Coach Wilde and the girls hosted the Jefferson Falcons and the JFK Eagles. The team, made up of seniors; Jordyn Faustino, Bryanna Biskup, and Cassidy Young, juniors; Bryanna Landers, Jala Beasley-Williams, Rina Raib, Tiasia Shepherd and Cari Boulton, sophomores: Kim McCann, Autumn Duncan, and Elizabeth Bell, and freshmen; Sydney Lara, Imani Seals, and Daja Beasley-Williams fought their way through twelve prior matches this season.
