Speech and Debate Split Youngstown For the Week

The Liberty High School Speech and Debate Team left the Youngstown district for a shot at the big leagues at the Canton McKinley and GlenOak tournaments. For debate, the GlenOak tournament began on Friday and continued the next day.

After a long weekend of competition, Jihad Esmail and Ahmad Amireh soared over debate teams from all over Ohio and placed second out of a total of 61 other Public Forum Debate Teams. Congratulations to the team for representing our school!
