It took two nights to finish but when it was all said and done the Leopards fell to an experienced Struthers team at Wildcat Stadium on Friday night.

Take a 28-6 lead into the locker room, Struthers got the scoring started in the third quarter as AJ Musolino found the endzone on a 69 yard keeper.

The Wildcats added another touchdown in the third quarter as Keyshawn Chism found the endzone on a 23 yard rush.

Rushton added another score for the Leopards in the fourth quarter on a 63 yard scamper to make the score 42-12 in favor of Struthers.

Rushton paced the Leopards with 76 yards on 9 carries and two touchdowns.

Reese paced Struthers with 106 yards on 12 carries and Musolino added 105 yards on 10 carries while completing 6 of his 8 pass attempts for 25 yards.

Liberty will look to rebound next week as they play host to Lakeview on Friday night. Kickoff at Leopard Stadium is slated for 7:00PM.

Trailing 7-0, Liberty got back into the game midway through the first quarter as Dra Rushton found the endzone on a 4-yard QB keeper to make the score 7-6 in favor of the Wildcats.

The two teams took to the field on Thursday night, but would have to continue the action on Friday night after weather forced the teams to abandon the contest with 44 seconds remaining in the first quarter.

Struthers struck first on their opening drive as Regal Reese found the endzone on a 34 yard run to cap off a 8 play, 89 yard drive.
