Liberty Schools will be hosting a green out game on Friday, December 6, at 7:00. This game is in support for our very own Zak Stevens, who is currently undergoing dialysis for kidney failure. The team has been selling green shirts and all of the profits will go to Zak’s family and his medical bills. In addition, the Liberty boy’s basketball team and the Niles boy’s basketball team will be wearing the green shirt to show their support, as well as our Liberty cheer team.
Zak has been apart of our leopard family since kindergarten, he has two brothers who have been with us since then as well. Zak is now a freshman at Liberty High School. Their father unfortunately passed away in July 2016 in a motorcycle accident, Zak was also injured.
Each shirt will cost $5, students that wear their Zak Strong or a green shirt to the game only have to pay $1 entrance fee, and adults $6. There will also be a 50/50 raffle at the game to help the cause. This is a very difficult time for Zak and his family, we hope to see you at the game to show your support to him.
