IB Math Applications and Interpretations prepares students to take the International Baccalaureate Math Studies exam at the standard level (SL).This course is designed for students who enjoy describing the real world and solving practical problems using mathematics, those who are interested in harnessing the power of technology alongside exploring mathematical models and enjoy the more practical side of mathematics. This course is more practical than theoretical. A TI-83 Plus or TI-84 series is required. Students will purchase a textbook at an approximate cost of $40. This course can be taken by IB students as part of their IB programme and general education students to earn an IB certificate.
