• Revitalized the engineering, robotics, and drafting program after the long time teacher retired followed by a year of transition when a full time teacher could not be retained. DRHS has had a FIRST Robotics Team for more than a decade, but the chaos of the previous year meant we would start with no returning students and only one returning active mentor.
• Reinstated the lapsed PLTW Engineering program and received $55,000 in grants over three year for training and equipment.
• Converted a back storage room into a 3D Printer maker space. Obtained money from school administration to purchase 6 3D printers, 30 Lego Mindstorm kits, and new power tools for the shop.
