Dakota Ridge High School offers several math electives in addition to the standard Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II.
Pathways to Mathematics Capstone Project
Below are several examples of possible course schedules that would lead a student to be able to complete a STEM Capstone Project focused on mathematics. These example do generally represent the possible sequence of math classes, but the other electives can very dramatically based on student interests. Any of the courses highlighted in green or yellow could be chosen to be part of the students coherant sequence of 4 STEM classes.
Advanced Math pathway
With one or two extra math classes and any combination of other STEM coursed a student could identify coherent sequence of 4 math classes that relate to a math STEM Capstone Project.
Average math pathway
With one or two extra math classes and any combination of other STEM coursed a student could identify coherent sequence of 4 math classes that relate to a math STEM Capstone Project.
Basic math pathway
With one or two extra math classes and any combination of other STEM coursed a student could identify coherent sequence of 4 math classes that relate to a math STEM Capstone Project.
