DRHS Summer Robotics Camp
for students who are completing 3rd, 4th, 5th or 6th grade this spring.
June 10 - 14, 2019
Sign-Up Form - fill this out to reserve a spot at the camp
Their spot in the camp will be secured once we receive the full payment.
Permission Slip/Waiver - can be signed and handed in on first day of camp
$625/student + $10/day for lunch (or just bring a sack lunch)
Payment is due to the DRHS financial secretary by 5/24/19
Checks should be made out to "DRHS - Robotics"

Monday - Ham & Cheese Sandwhiches
Tuesday - Pizza
Wednesday - Chicken Sandwhiches

Friday - Ham & Cheese Sandwiches
Schedule: We will run two classes, 8 hours each, for 5 day (Mon - Fri).
8:00 am - Set-up
8:30 am - Arrival (drop-off at West Entrance)
High School Student/Mentors will meet children at the curb
9:00 am - Morning Instruction Begins
12:00 - Lunch 12:00 - 1:00
1:00 pm - Afternoon Instruction Begins
5:00 pm - Dismissal (pick-up at West Entrance)
High School Student/Mentors will walk with children at the curb
5:15 pm - Finish Clean-up
Class Structure
Groups of 2 students will work together to build, program and test their robots.
Each group will use one desktop computer and one Lego EV3 Robotics Kit.
DRHS robotics students will mentor students through the activities, answering questions, guiding, and troubleshooting problems.
One mentor will work with 2-3 groups of students.
